It's been 40 years since she's passed on the 7th July 1967 Rest in Peace dearest Vivien Leigh!

I wanted to make a more exotic Vivien Leigh tribute and also I wanted to bring attention to her other works such as Anna Karenina, That Hamilton Woman, Caesar and Cleopatra. I hope everybody enjoys the magic that is Vivien Leigh and the different masks she wears.

  • I love Waterloo Bridge and a Streetcar Named Desire! She was great inthose, but then again, when isn't she great? I wish you'd have included GWTW though. I aodre Scarlett. I also saw her in "A Yank at oxford" and "Sidealks of London" they weren't such big films but I enjoyed them greatly nevertheless. I really want to see that Hamilton Woman and Anna Karenina though!

  • I would have loved to Include Gone with the Wind but I felt it was already featured quite heavily in alot of other videos. I wanted my video to feature her other films, the ones that havent been watched by a lot of people, possibly rekindling interest in them. Thanks for your lovely comments.

  • 4:04 - 4:08 = gorgeousnessss (:

  • I love that shot of hers, very Feline Fatale!

  • i have seen her in Gone With the Wind, A Streetcar Named Desire(she was crazy in that), and Ceasar and Cleopatra. I always loved her, a terrific actress and so gorgeous, I wish I looked just like her. After seeing this I want to find and watch That Hamilton Woman, thanks for this.

  • Waterloo Bridge and That Hamilton Woman are a must for all Vivien Leigh fans!!! thanks for the comment.

  • Great Tribute!

What a shame that Vivien became so ill.

Can one imagine all the roles we missed due to

    her illness?

I wish I had known her.

  • Lovely video, she was such a beautiful and talented lady!

  • That Hamilton Woman was one of her best. I have seen almost all of the movies she has ever made considering she only made 17 movies in her whole lifetime. I loved Cesar and Cleopatra a lot but its kind of sad when you know the story behind it. the part where she is whipping her slave, after they shot it they took a reak and during it Vivien fell and had a miscarige. Soo sad!!!! I wish she wasent dead but all the people who like her must never stop. we cannot let the memory of her die away!!!!!!

  • @LexiixoxRoxx Me too!

  • My favorite Girl!..Rest in Peace, Sweeet Viv!

  • She had the most beautiful profile (2:31)

  • Oh, I see your point. Well that does make sense now that you mention it. You're very welcome :)

  • So true! I thought she looked beautiful in Streetcar, even though she's not supposed to. But everything about her- her elegance, her talent, her radiance, her class- all make her beautiful no matter what!

  • Lol so is my grandma! My mom likes her too, but I'm her biggest fan in my family :) Gone With the Wind is my favorite! I also liked A Streetcar Named Desire, Waterloo Bridge, and A Yank at Oxford, Sidewalks of London. I really want to see That Hamilton Woman and Anna Karenina though!

  • Beautiful video!

    Vivien was so beautiful!
