@inuyashalovesme213 I've always loved Japan since I was a little girl. Truthfully I felt like I was always a Japanese stuck in an American body. Of course I went to Japan and learned just how American I was....I am now an international business major so I hope Japan will still be a part of my life :)

@kelvinjiro This is the most interaction I've ever gotten out of these boys and trust me....I tried. I think I was too weird for them to handle :P Actually the one going "America!!!" Is one of five guys who would actually talk to me without being forced to.....The one in the mask also talked to me. Half of these guys never said a WORD to me the entire year until like the last month :/

You're so lucky to have had this experience! My school teaches Japanese, and after years of waiting to get a chance, I am told that the only exchange thing we have (Other than them coming to out school) was a scholarship for ONE student for something like 2 weeks. And of course, they gave it away on the students reputation, instead of anything that actually mattered, like their Japanese language skills or their motivation to go.. D:

@Wildpaw0 That is really unfortunate! I am so thankful I went to Japan and it really changed my life :) You are so right though. You really have to have motivation to do exchange.
