Good folk music is a very pure form of art and it must be preserved and developed in its own musical tradition. When you sing a Lori folk song using the western 7 note scale with twelve pitches, you are simply making western music while loosing the wonderful quarter tone intervals of Persian (also Turkish and Arabic) music and along with it their rich tradition of ad lib improvisation. The video dose not sound authentic. It sounds like any European song created by the millions.

You must know, that many Persian Folksongs such as Gandokhar (originaly a rhymed Lovesong) have no Quarter-ton, no Improvisation and are based (like nearly all oder scales called "Advar") on a 7-ton scales!

It is better to inform yourself more accurately about the persian music, befor you prejudice any work.

Moreover, every composer give himself the right to develope his music as he will. Only in the future it is possible to have a correct judjment about the ‌‌genuineness or a work.

This is a mockery of Luristan folk music. This is bastardization and Europeanization of Iranian music. Why don't you go and learn true Persian musical scales and sing Iranian folk songs the way they are sung by genuine tribal and rural population of Iran? Why do you have to degrade yourself and the beautiful melodies of your country just to sound like a European? Why?

It is sorrowful to see that there are still people who don´t distinguish between Folk- and Art-music, or even live in the past centuries.

Do you know the origins of the europian music?

Do you affront J. S. Bach too wenn you hear to his genious chorals, because they are nothing more than arrangements of some simple monophonic Gregorian songs? Or Bartok, because he has mailny worked out Hungrian and Romanian folk music? Or Beethoven, Brahms, Grieg, Chopin, Tchaikowsky and many other composers?
