I climed Cairn Table about 10 years ago and I remember seeing some Pictish remains. It was a stone drinking stone or something. Can this be true? Cairn Table is amazing.

I was just the same Mate lol Just 2 days ago my friend and i climbed it and the summit always seemed just over the next ridge :( but we eventualy got there in 1hr 35 mins. It was a sunny day down at the bottom and quite warm but at the top we had hail stones lol and then cleared very fast to be a great day and had our lunch there! Over all it was a good climb and we had great fun. You should try the river ayr walk as we did that last week on our bikes from muirkirk golfclub to sorn
