Another jewel on the New Mexico landscape. See the natural caves of Cliff Dweller Canyon ... People of the Upper Gila River - the Mogollon culture, which thrived from the 1270s to around 1300 and then disappeared. Walk the trail to the caves followed by a tour of the ruins.

  • whats with the creepy music

  • What a wonderful video. You did a fantastic job. I used to visit the Gila every year and now I am too far away and do not have the ability to do that. You took me back home for a few minutes. Thank you.

  • Thanks for a thoughtfully put together video. I used to live in NM but never made it to the Gila Cliff dwellings but will make it point to visit the next time I am there.

  • Very nice . My Grandfather took me to the Gila River when I was12-13 to go fishing.

Spent many summers in New Mexico. More fun than should be allowed.

  • No comments huh. I don't get many at all.

Mine is that I appreciate the effort you put into this and understand how long it took. Nice! Hope to be there early in 011 and do some of the same.
