  • that would of made an awesome windows startup sound

  • The Satrun used Hitachi chipsets (notably the 2 Hitachi SH2 chips which powered the Saturn's rendering), and as part of the deal to use them Sega gave Hitachi rights to manufacture thier own units under the Hitachi brand.

It's also worth checking out the VSaturn, made by JVC - who also worked with Sega to develop the failed "Wondermega". Probably the hottest looking console ever! :D

  • @gchijioke12 Yes, it was. It is because of the relations between Japan and Southkorea since the 1950 war. There was an embargo and so the japanese productions, to be able to be sold on the southkorean market, had to be renamed.

  • I heard there was also a Samsung Saturn in Korea

  • If the HISaturn was more civilized it would be called the SalutationsSaturn XD

  • @gerryf964 probably an import website like play asia or something

  • HiSaturn and VSaturn are the multimedia players that Sega gave them to Hitachi Co, Ltd. and JVC.

  • Hello Saturn xD
