The version of this song on iTunes "The Waves at night" is what turned me onto this band. This stripped down version is just as strong as the lush harmonies of the studio version. I do wish he would use the yodeling more sparingly. I think it's more effective if it's used less.

tears came at 1;08. saw them in glasgow at the captains rest on 31/05/09. this mans music has perhaps the most special place in my heart of any. the right notes have been struck. thank you Matthew.
