@AXLPANOSROSE Rob wasn't able to reach high notes ? Back in the 70's ? In the 80's ?
-
@KrissKross97 nope, tim the ripper
-
this version is at least 1 tone down that the original, but he sing really good.

The Ripper was awesome here, this song is bloody hard to sing and he nailed it. Only part I didn't like as much was the chorus-It's like he forgot the lyrics were 'This is the Painkiller' and just said 'Thah, Ahh, Tha -'.
As a sidenote, I want that damn bike! or at the very least, those sick circular saw hubcaps.
-
Is that Rob Halford?
-
sounds better with the ripper cause he doesnt force it, i mean ge doesnt sound like a squirrel

@AFIROCK100 lemmy kilmster??? :D

Common, this versin is 1 step down of its tunning so that means that makes it a little bit easier to sing due to de tunning wich is a much lower note range... still great versino the best version of judas live!!

5:31 is like most difficult moment to sing, after that whole screaming throughout the song, you just gotta have the power for the last scream. Well, i though it was the last at that moment, but Tim manages to do it again on 6:26 . Tim is an awesome singer. No mistake choosing him for Rob's replacement. Tim sings Painkiller differently than Rob, but in an equal kick ass effect.
The ripper really did a great job here. I've heard rob do worse live.
