To the pony tailed poser: Nobody ever handled and cued a record on a turntable like you do. I worked in radio as a teenager when typically 3 turntables. You don't know how to cue a record.

snarfdude: No such thing as being "too delicate." Being gentle with things is how you make them last for years. If everyone in a station was gentle on equipment like it was their own, repair and replacement costs would be reduced greatly. Your backspin when Qing a record DOES matter if you don't want "wow" when you start it. Agreed on the decent pressings, but sometimes, polystyrene is all you have to work with if that's what the record company sent.
