Speed Bump

This is a set of speed bumps intended to stop excessive traffic through a neighborhood. Local residents say it is a hazard and have petitioned to have it removed.
Just imagine a fire truck trying to negotiate this one!!

I'm suprised the EnvironMENTAL Brigade haven't latched onto this one... Given that every car that goes over them is going to be using more fuel and trashing parts left right and centre. Frankly if I lived in that area I'd make up a bucket of concrete and in the middle of the night go and fill it in.

"excessive traffic", meaning its intended to be so difficult and uncomfortable that people dont use that street anymore. Not intended to slow drivers down for safety.
