  • Two things happened yesterday: I discovered this song and I discovered I'm gonna be a first-time grandpa (In that order). Either way, I can taste forever from here and it tastes remarkably fabulous. I'm glad I lived long enough to experience both. If I died tomorrow, I'd be happy.

  • "Hey you! Did you ever realized what you've become..?"

  • @wall666nirvana

    eheheh ;)

  • Song for Bi Polars :)))

  • @forgedby2112 on the same album, in the song "Lost for Words," there's a direct knock on Roger.

  • @forgedby2112 The first verse is about Syd, the second about Waters. This has been confirmed by David's wife Polly. For those who know the history of Pink Floyd, it is quite obvious, but it is still nice to have confirmation ;) The line towards the end about "I thought of you" is about Syd, as he goes on to say "and did you know: I never thought that youd lose that light in your eyes", which has been described by many as what happened to Syd (not the least by Waters as "black holes in the sky")

  • I don't think this song was about Waters specifically. Could have been, but doubtful. It doesn't fit the tonality of the album in that context. To say this was a direct slap in the face to Roger would be like calling Gilmour a 4 year old. "I thought of you, and the years of all the sadness, fell away from me. Doesn't sould much like their then strained relationship. Since losing Richard, they have come to peace with each other. How sad. RIP Richard. You are sorely missed.
