  • Thanks. Actually this is Raag Shahana, if you listen to part 1, you will hear Raziuddin saying that he is presenting Raag Shahana by Amir Khusrau.

  • cool. then that is a much different or maybe older interpretation of Shahana.

    This interpretation is "SRnS, RPg, mRS, mPnPNS', which is a typical malhar challan with both nishads. But this could be an older style of shahana. Shahana, typically, is SRm,Pg,gDnP, gmDDDDnP, nnPmPnPmg, mRS".

    beautiful regardless. All your tracks are great. the basant is AMAZING...opening new doors to an older style of singing. i even hear dhrupad elements in the style of sining the bandish. kya baat hai!
