This video was filmed over an 8-month period between January 2007 and September 2007. With footage from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Nevada, some features include rider Ben Noble jumping the fun box (by a country mile!) at the Pro Wakeboarding Tour's last stop at Blue Lake (PDX), an epic session on Idaho's Cascade Lake, a freeride gathering session on Portland's historic waterfront and much more...
Nice idea ! I wonder how it works with a mtb and a bit of wind...

Haha looks fun. but what the hell if you cant reach the flats without a BIG KITE you really need to practise your proggresive cut haha

good non-wind alternative to kiteboarding but the wake boarders who think wake kiting is the future water sport cause of the 'insane air' should watch some ruben lenten videos

i dont know, this thing looks pretty pointless to me, you can't do any tricks

This isn't supposed to be 'wakeboarding'. you can use the kite with combo skis, a kiteboard, a wakeboard, and even a slalom ski. Railslayer, you need serious help if you "can't" use this thing; it isn't hard, although catching big air, as shown in the video, takes solid practice.

you need serious help if you use this thing. Hope the normal world doesnt see this and judge wakeboarding by these winners.
set fire to this kite thing and yourself if you have one.

This thing rocks!! Not as fun as kiteboarding, but a great intro to airing with a kite. When the wind isn't blowing, this thing rules over wakeboarding any day.

This thing rocks...best thing to do when the wind dies. way more fun than wakeboarding! Of course, if the wind is pumping, you know where I'll be!!

so stupid. you can spin or flip. go learn to wakeboard or kiteboard

wow it looks cool, im a kiter and this looks like a great no wind sport, if you could get some tricks going it would be awesome...
you should kinda bring the kite lines together a couple of feet up from the rider to a pulley, then attach the wakeline to the pulley, then u got a bar underneath that can rotate more easily. maybe could then do spins and handlepasses etc!
have you tried looping the kite yet? might be able to get more airtime with that?
