Midnight Confessions Bass Cover

I remember when i was young and my dad used to play his grass roots cd every day on the way to school. Then i grew up and had a change of musical interests but after revisiting them i fell back in love. It didnt hurt that most of there songs had an awesome bass riff either. This would be one of my favorites Midnight Confessions played in standard tuning on my Fender Jazz bass. This is actually a pretty tough song because of all the finger movements, it kills my forearm everytime i play it. Every bassist should learn this song just because of its complexity and everybody says it looks cool and is entertaining when i play it. Dont get me wrong i know there are much tougher songs out there but hey its a classic. Boy they sure dont make music like this anymore, iv'e been playing it for awhile but im sure the tab is floating around here somewhere so if you want it all you gotta do is ask. Oh yea Mignight Confessions is the property of the grass roots and I do not take any credit for it whatsoever.

@radcam69 Im taking bass lessons and found that it is quite easy,I don't think I need any more lessons since my instructor showed me about playing by ear and figuring out the notes. Lately the lessons seem to be draging along. I think this is his nice way of telling me it's time to quit,which is ok since I been playing along with the ipod and enjoy it.

are you sure it stays on the F# for 2 bars in the chorus, coz it sounds like jumps to the C# in the recording?

This is one of my favorite songs - but I never realized how complicated the bass line was until I actually saw someone play it, LOL. You did an amazing job! (Pity those of us with short fingers who will never be able to do this... :P)
