yea man those i5 rivalry games were fun huh. u guys gotta get louder tho man. i remember at the key, the blazer fans were like mice no offence.

Maybe more people in Seattle should have gone to the games, supported the team. You know, stuff that show's the owners there's a reason to stay.

the team was sold to a sleezebag by the name clay bennett who never wanted the sonics to stay in seattle but to take them to his hometown of OKC (since the OKC hornets recieved a lot of praise)

he just used keyarena as an excuse to get there, or else he wouldn't mind not terminating a lease before its expiry.

you have it all wrong.

it was the arena not the fans.

the nba even stated that unless they get a bigger arena then there will be no basketball in seattle.

they were thinking of moving the sonics to the Everett event center which is like twice as big as the key arena but it would be also twice as hard for many fans to get there.

they almost ALWAYS sold out there games, yet they still didnt gain enough money from rental of the arena, to staff, players, it just didnt budget well. our fans RULE

I remember that night... we were chanting "Save our Sonics!" during the last 30 seconds, PJ called a timeout, Kevin Durant left the huddle and started throwing his hands up for us to chant louder... PJ ran out into the court and pulled Kevin's hands out and started scolding him... ha ha ha it was so great.
