Jim Scott ends a concert with his much loved song that borrows the refrain from a Russian round -
with Martha Sandefer, Jose Pienasola and Mark Kohler. This displays Jim's virtuoso guitar technique and is a rare chance to see and hear him perform with bass and drums.

One mark of a true master is to make the difficult or complex seem simple and effortless. And to bring forth all the beauty therein.

I've seen this guy once in person, performing in a coffeehouse in Camp Springs, Md. several years ago, and I'm still blown away by his finale, an original of his, "The Braided Rug." I'd love to see that go up here.

BTW, if memory serves, Jim is an expatriate of The Paul Winter Consort.

@ffggddss Thank you. Yes, Jim was the guitarist of the Consort for several years, and wrote a good part of the "Missa Gaia" (Earth Mass). We'll see about the Braided Rug; we have some old analog video that isn't in good enough condition to post. But he still performs it from time to time.
