Hm, I've pretty much built my htpc with xbmc live on it w/ ir remote and everything. I never got into tv cards and stuff. Can someone enlighten me about any new cards i could add on my pci slots for more awesomeness? I got no cable btw lol

I'm probably going to build an HTPC soon...thanks for the vid...this just further emphasizes my decision in this case...the SATA cable trick was great too...this is why it's good to watch people's videos constantly to find new tricks out there!
2 thumbs up!

How did you go about hooking up your harmony remote to the HTPC? I'm wanting to do that with my harmony 1100, Did you have to have your remote 'learn' all the IR signals?

@nordemoniac no the colours match, not 1 and 3.

Oh, sorry, didn't see that Zalmann 9500 AT has side-mounted fans.
Ok, so the height and the 80mm fans is the issue.
I'll check it out!

Yeah, I know. But unfortunately it's hard for me to say.
I could do some measurements, maybe in the weekend? You must remember that the chassis isn't very tall, so any fan on CPU-cooler would be stuck in the top of the cabinet.
But I'll see what I can do.
Nice trick with the S-ATA cable.
Btw. the RAM.
Won't it perform better if put in slot 1 + 3? To activate Dual Channel...

Yeah, I don't have this build anymore but I would have put it in the "A" slots for dual channel.

You should probably use your own thermal paste. The ones that come with the processor is trash. Try looking into Arctic Silver 5 or TX-2 for better heat transfer. Great video and the quality is great. What kind of camera are you using?

Sorry, camera is Canon Vixia HG20
