Just a quick sketches on a Lenovo X60 Tablet PC. It has wacom pen digitizer, so you do gets some pen pressure. Wacom Cintiq 24HD has 2048 levels of pressure. I don't know how many pen pressure the Tablet PC has but I found that the it works just as well. I think when you keeps switching between working on the Wacom Cintiq and the Tablet PC, then you will noticed the different. But if you just sketches on the Tablet PC all the time then you get used to the pen pressure and over time is not noticeable.

  • Yeah, some projects I would would first sketched in the Tablet PC just because it faster for me to put down idea when drawing on the screen. Then, I would finished my work on the desktop using the intuso 4.

The other trick I do when drawing using the Tablet is adjusts the opacity often to get the desired pressure.

  • Oh it is very noticeable to me. Working as an illustrator, there are times when you need to get into the tiniest of spaces, and I have noticed the pen pressure needing to be completely accurate.
