[Unreleased Game Music] PAL: Shinken Densetsu - Sorrowful Drunken Corgie

Music from the 1997 Japan-only Touhoku Shinsha-developed PlayStation role-playing game "PAL: Shinken Densetsu" (PAL: Sacred Dog Legend), composed by Tsugutoshi Gotou (most well-known for the music from the NES version of Ultima: Exodus).

A so-called "original soundtrack" to this game actually WAS produced, but in addition to being woefully incomplete (the soundtrack has 13 tracks, while the game itself has over 50), it also consisted entirely of arranged and remixed versions of the game's music, making it less an original soundtrack, and more an arrange album.

Fortunately, I was able to locate a full PSF rip of the game's music:

And I've decided to convert my favorite tracks from it to WAV, and share them with you all via YouTube!

A remix of this track was included as track 7 on the OST, under the name "Aishuu no Yopparai Corgie" (Sorrowful Drunken Corgie). It's basically the game's boat music, played as you romp around aboard ship and talk to all the drunken sailors. The remix is pretty close to the original, but I actually prefer the instrumentation in the original song by a small amount - even if it DOES sound like the voice samples are all saying "sig heil," which I'll admit is kind of disturbing!
