  • 1973 MMA....bruce lee was way ahead of his time...

  • @grumpypant Not to get too deep into your guys little pillowfight, but Sammo Hung would right now, today kick about 85% of men in the worlds ass and he is pushing 60. He has gone through real martial arts training while most of us, me included, have gone through at best some high school athletics. It is easy to be tough on message boards, almost everyone that tries to be is a fatter, sloppier joke than your average guy. Don't expect a reply, I know logic has no chance in an internet argument.

  • this was the last footage of Bruce Lee ever filmed...it was after all the ETD crew left back to America...it was filmed at Woodland Crest in April of 1973 I believe...2 months before Lee was gone...

  • @Paul07791 definitely now things are settled. Man, I am a jkd student and I'm here to help you grow your knowledge about bl. Google UNSETLED MATTERS by Tom Bleecker, there is a web site where you can find the whole book free. Peace!

  • @diplomata1990 No I haven't. I think I got that from the documentaries I have seen, audio commentries by Bey Logan etc. Maybe you are right, though if that were case then surely the book should be titled "settled matters" lol.

  • @Paul07791 have you read UNSETTLED MATTERS...well there is a medical record that proves bruce had not hurt his back from strength work.

  • @diplomata1990 He was doubled for the O'Hara flip, to which you are reffering. Bruce didn't do flips, especially after hurting his back in the 60's from lifting weights.

  • @Paul07791 man the kick flipping backwards wasn't doubled, there are pictures of bruce mid air and you can see his face, but I have my doubts about the flip in the end of this scene

  • @marciopasiotto i hope youre joking

  • @toninote No but he told someone(i think it was sammo)that he'd love to learn it he died of course shortly after the film was made so dont know how much acrobatics training bruce got.

  • @grumpypant bruce lee picked sammo because sammo was a good actor, m artist, friend & Acrobat.

  • @TickleMeSilly720 very true in 1973 the only thing sammo had over bruce was acrobatic skills which bruce expressed a desire to learn after watching sammo & of course they were friends like jacky chan & sammo.
