Wheelers For The Wounded event held at River Rock ORV Park in Milledgeville GA 9/26-9/27/09
We drove from Miami straight through 13 hours and wheeled for a few hours on Saturday before I had to retreat to the hotel to pass out from exhaustion. Everyone else camped at River Rock.

It Stormed heavily through the night and when we got to River rock Sunday morning every one had either left or was in the process of leaving since the storms had made a rough night for them.

We stayed and had the whole park to ourselves..the weather cleared and was absolutely beautiful.

  • Is that a Bestop trektop? How do you like it? Does it leak at all?

  • @23peeweeduke

No, its an Off Road Heros top. ^5

  • Why do you have problem with Jk Forum? Just curious!

  • @doneanddone2011

Not the members of JK-F, just the Administration. A blight on the Jeeping Community and has been recognized as such on just about every other Jeeping and off road website.. even by magazines. The info is out here and not hard to find, search on JKOwners or JeepForum Cheers.

  • What kind of jeep is this? And did you buy it all stock?

  • @chadcrdv

It is a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Yes, I purchased new from the dealer all stock.. it lasted like that for about a week. :)

No, unfortunately there is a long back story there. I am not a fan of the way WayOfLife runs his website with all the censorship and product steering, and though i was once a member on JK-F for a little while in 2008 I left and resigned as an "area leader" there to help grow JKOwners where members are free to talk about all aftermarket companies and parts without the fear of being "Banned" or "Blacklisted".

Most JKF members are in the dark when it comes to this. Its kinda sad.

  • @AleXdkn

Well, so we can ride together, wheel without fear of breaking and not being able to get home when you are 12 hours away... plus gas in two rigs would cost more than gas in one tow rig.. tire wear on 40" tires gets expensive as well. Some spots we drive to, but most of the wheeling we do is far from home, Moab is a 40 hour drive.. I love my Jeep.. but i don't love enough that much. :)
