No you are juxtaposing two polar cases and attempting to make both synonymous simply by adding the transitional word "similarly" in between them. In case you are not aware there are levels/degrees of crimes. you CANNOT correlate a murderer wit a harmless minimum wage immigrant worker, or "animals" as you call them. Even Bill O'Reilly see how delusional this Arizona senator is with his proposals the 14th. I thought that I have seen all until be brought out the accent non-sence about educators.
