@Degobunny Star trek hasnt been good for years. But JJ isnt bring Star Trek into a new great future. Infact JJ just put the last nail in the coffin for Star Trek. Not the mention the guy sucks at everything he dose.

love it or hate it, it was star trek biggest comercial hit and YOUR star trek or not, the essence was written all over it.

@Actionguy1 Star trek was already killed before JJ can along. Rick Berman killed Trek, JJ resurrected the francise and is starting to repair all the damage done by Voyager and Enterprise. I like the new film well enough it certianly was better then the last couple Star Trek Next Generation movies.

The reason we respond this way is because we don't appreciate a half assed TV producer coming in and destroying something near and dear to us TRUE FANS! Until cooler heads at Paramount/CBS prevail, Abrams and company will KILL the franchise. Hell, they already put the first nail in the coffin. It was called "JJ Abrams' Star Trek"!
