  • How dare this ass take Glen Campbell's song! What the hell is this world coming to? This was one of my favorite songs and this creep ruined it! Where did this guy come from? Who is he anyway?

  • @Nashthebigsmasher What world do you live in then? a world where no artist dare sing another artists song? the "ass" you refer to is "The King Of Romance" Engelbert Humperdinck, a mega singing star worldwide. You could find out facts before leaving snide remarks on something you clearly know nothing about.

  • Much as I love Glen Campbell, this, for me,is THE definitive recording. Fantastic song, equally fantastic performance by all concerned.

  • @Nashthebigsmasher

Just read your insane comment from 11 months ago. lol

This Man has a velvet voice and the sound and orchestral arrangement is far superior to Glen ( and I like Glen ).....

    TOTALLY DIFFERENT CLASS M8 !!

  • The best rendition of this song and performance by Engelbert Humperdinck,

sung with such passion, and feeling. It’s what today music lacks......

  • this is a wonderful version of the old classic. it is not the same as Glenn's but it is equally as beautiful in a different kinda way

  • Great singer...among the best in the league of Crosby, Sinatra, Dean, Mathis, Bennett and all those great crooners...the guy who said the song was ruined by Engelbert Humperdinck doesn't know what he's saying...period.

  • @Nashthebigsmasher You didn't have to listen to it.

  • *****

  • @Nashthebigsmasher

The background arrangement added to Eng's voice makes THIS the superior version by a Country Mile:)

  • @Nashthebigsmasher " Glen Campbells song"?? I always thought it was Johnny Rivers song!! as he recorded it first

Check your facts and stop taking my air, hold your breath!

  • He does a great job of a great song. !!!
