yep you have it right, only the "public" folder isn't private, so you can make as many folders as you like, and they will be only accessible by yourself, just remember anything within the public folder is not private, folders, files whatever.

So just a simple question ... if i drop a folder into dropbox, will that folder stay private? (so only things in the "public" folder will be made public..?)
