June 23rd eh? That's the same week the Chicagoland area always seems to allways have Tornado Warnings. On June 23rd 2010 there was a tornado warning in Chicago and 7 funnel clouds went over the area and one right over my neighborhood!

Not sure..i was looking Threads..but it was another film..it was scary,because it was not sure befor what the sirens have to warn..It was a "crossing" of films like "Mad max"-"Postman" and "Threads"
I hav never seen this film again since the 80-ties..
The people were wairing cloths like they have found them a little dirty,but it was clear that ther was "some civilation" like ours "left".
I search on.. ;)

@cultim 100 Points..
An i had an Experience something scary like this:
In 1984 in january at a sunday morning at 7 o clock ALL sirens of my homecounty were going on with ATTACK WARNING!!
The sirens wer 45 Minutes howling..my father was crying and he was screaming
"The Russian are coming, get all together and we must leave our homes..
It was scary,becaus the government was saying :
"It was an mistake at the warning operator center"
It was like 1944 in gernany O,o

@Droideka133: Not everyone..........in fact, only a few countries have tornado alleys; The U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Australia..........and that's about it, really.

Actually taking into account the UK is a small landmass compared to thr USA, the United Kingdom actually has the highest frequency of reported tornadoes per unit area in the world. This was first recognised by an American meteorologist, Dr. T. Fujita, in 1973.
