no 36th second?

Half the life's genius comes from Peter's perfect delivery.
-
Fun fact: Kubrick insisted the War Room's table be felt green, to emphasize how they treat the fate of the entire world like a game. Makes sense except... the movie's in BLACK AND WHITE!

i just noticed how ridiculously long that table of food is...LOL the satire never stops...what a brilliant film.

"Gentlemen. You can't fight in here. This is the War Room!"
That line's nothing short of epic.

Marvellous ! I would have published this part if it hasn't been already available.

We had a project at work where they designated a meeting room as 'The War Room'. Of course eventually there was an argument over something, at which point I bounded up and shouted 'No fighting in the War Room!' (oops sorry, I muffed my line a bit)

"Our premier is a man of the people, but he's also a man.. If you follow my meaning" xD
-
at the end, we see the Ambassador photographing the big board with a micro-camera
that either means:
A) he brought two micro-cameras just in case one of them was confiscated
or
B) Gen. Turgidson happened to have a mico-camera to plant on him

simply brilliant. greatest line ever.
You guys want to fight? Take it to the peace room!
