  • If Christians came from jews, why are there still jews?

  • @Waustvanput Jesus recorded only in the bible?? Jewish historians recorded many things. You can easily pull up articles on google about the history of Jesus. In fact, you could go to any university library and find more information on Jesus than any Russian Czar. Im not browsing as we go here, i studied this as an atheist a year and a half ago, and became a Christian in Septemberish because I learned how much sense the bible makes and how you can just look out a window and see God's wonders

  • @Waustvanput Where does the bible have fairy tales? Does this mean that any documents we find from ancient cultures should be considered fair tales? The life of Jesus was witnessed by thousands. Don't you think SOMEONE would have written something to dispute the things He did? And the facts of his death where recorded by christians and non christians. The romans recorded his death, and guarded his tomb while he was dead. He rose again in3 days. Try explaining that one if you where a guard

  • @Waustvanput You won't find that info on an atheist site because its an embarrassment to Evolutionary Theory. Do research yourself about each to get the answers, but I guarantee in the end you will find an article by the national geographic admitting that these scientists made up evidence to prove their findings were legit. (one was found last minute before his grant expired)

  • @shfifty555 history.. there is also history in the tale of robin hood.

the miracles of this christ guy are not recorded in any other document then the bible.

which was written AFTER he died. not something you can really find to be accurate.

flood real? there is no evidence.

you are probably browsing through christian sources. those sources are not scientific correct and will say anything to disprove science and prove their own theories.

  • @shfifty555 /watch?v=EUozZo8nOpY <-- Evolutionary evidence

the link is to a christian site.. not really what i would call a site that is trustworthy on the subject.

the bible is nothing more then the tales of red riding hood / cinderella

  • @Waustvanput @Waustvanput Again where is the evidence?

homo erectus: ``Finally, enough pressure was placed on him that the actual bones were allowed to be examined and the discrepancies were found. And eventually, enlightened America as well as the world found out that this was a hoax.`` Google this quote

Check the link and read the article. Ever pondered the fact that you COULD be wrong?? The bible is a historical document. Lets leave it at that.

  • @Waustvanput The bible is also History. Are you going to start disputing History now? If the tree is upright cutting through several layers of sediment; the base of it being 4 million years old, is the top of the tree the same age as the root? Could the top of the tree be 1 million years old? There was a flood. There are signs all over the world. Ps I just browsed through the age of the oldest trees on earth and see that it is approx 6,000 years old? Coincidence?

  • @shfifty555 Circular reasoning.. The bible is the word of god > The bible tells us so > the bible is infallible> the bible is....

    Circular =D

the tree.. if various radiometric dating methods all say this tree is millions of years old then yes if they dont and give another age the tree has another age.

Australopithecus Africanus > homo habilis > homo ergaster > homo erectus > Cro Magnon > Humans as we know ourselves today

watch the discovering religion series. and you will learn a lot!

  • @shfifty555 helen is funny because.. in the grand canyon you can find different types of plants/fossils corresponding to the place in the timeline in which they lived in.

on the fossils. you find a fossil use various radiometric dating methods. find the age of the fossil. look into what layer they were at. do this with multiple fossils and see if the correspond to each other. if they do. you got yourself an age for the layer. if they dont well it doesnt work =D but it does^^
