and Ballou are UDC (rip) NSU and Howard influenced. Im not talkin about the DC AREA im talkin about DC, the outter areas dont really have the support for marching bands as they had in the past. Musically Oxon Hill in the past was competition for SHS just 50 members smaller.

Ahem you are not from the DC area so you cant speak. We have bands that are HYBRIDS.... Cardoza was Half NSU n Half SU, Eastern was Half JSU, Famu and HIU now they have a bit of NSU. dont speak for no DC area bands... i been n the game for only 10 years and i know about alot of bands nation wide so i can state my opinion.

I am from GA originally and I now reside in DC and trust me. None of the bands in the DC metro area can even come close to touching the high school bands in GA. They will blow on them all day. Plus, many of the band directors are from many of the popular HBCUs in the South. I know my high school alma mater, Peach County would blow all day on Ballou. All 300 of them!! Musicality, baby!

the one thing i hate i about GA people is that they always pic on the "Lil people", when yall compare bands yall always compare the smallest bands to yall 200-300 member bands... and dude Peach county? they are not even talked about in GA, if its not Dekalb county or any band that goes to Jamborees, its not worth talkin about.. and i Bet if DC bands was still the same as they were 20 years ago, we would crush any GA band wit out 400 member Cardoza Marching band or Eastern SHS

O yea.... In GA. the only band thats really doing Damage is Miller Grove... 150 members smaller than the big boys and still killing them in the sound department.

I don't know the CRSA Allstars?? But, you didn't crank on Pebblebrook. I have Pebblebrook on DVD and they are fire from Mableton, GA. I have seen them in person. SO, I know your high school band didn't touch Pebblebrook. I have seen the band on your page that I assume you attend and they couldn't even compete with Pebblebrook. I am not even going to entertain you on that one, bruh.

Bruh, PC got in SWD and Stephenson arse a few years back at the Battle of the Bands when FAM, BCC, SCSU and some other HBCU bands were there. They were talking smack the entire week how they were going to blow on my alma mater. Plus, there are some large and small bands in the state of GA that will blow on each other and the DC area has no comp whatsoever, son. Spencer out of Columbus is small. Their band director is from Southern and they are like a many Human Jukebox. Blow on you all DAY!!
