Hi Guys, here's another installment of my Weight Loss Journey and what I've learned from the Weight Management Class at the Veterans Affairs Class.

This vid is about how to cut 100 calories from your daily menu, based on foods/beverages you already consume. This is not a list of things to do, but how to cut down from what you are already eating per day.
Things you can do to trim off 100 per day from your daily intake:
Omit 1 tablespoon of mayo, peanut butter, etc
Omit 1 alcoholic beverage and drink a glass of water instead
Decrease your handful of nuts by 10 (count)
Omit 1 slice of cheese from your sandwich (experiment with using half a teaspoon of parmesan cheese in place of 1 slice of processed cheese)
Skim the 3 slices of bacon at breakfast
Limit regular salad dressing to 2 tablespoons, and use the fork method
Choose a 12-oz carbonated beverage versus 20-oz
Eat 1 oz of chips/pretzels instead of 2
Skip the 4 Hersey's kisses or starlight mints -- SMILE :-D
Order small fries instead of medium fries, go easy on the ketchup
Cut 12-oz of juice down to 4-oz and add water
Exchange your 10-in plate to an 8-in plate
Switch from 2% milk to fat free milk (if you normally drink whole milk, switch to 2%, and work your way down to fat free)
Eat 1 less slice of bread or skip the dinner roll
Eat 1 cup of cereal instead of 1 bowl

@ibqtubu that's just about how i cut down on drinking mountain dew! i used to drink a 24-oz bottle EVERYDAY!!! then i cut down to 3 24-oz per week, then 1, and now i buy the 16-oz bottles but only drink half, maybe once a week or less. that was a doozie for me, cuz i LOVE mountain dew! there are weeks when i don't drink any at all. thanks!

great tips...My best calorie reducer was to reduce my soda intake. First I cut how many sodas I drank in a day, eventually I reduced the size of the sodas, from 12 oz to 8 oz. Now I cant remember the last time that I had a soda.

@tclove100 hey, thank you so much! it's an easy list, especially if you eat a lot LOL i ate a handful of almonds tonight and i was so hungry, i did not count anything! LOL sure, go ahead and copy-paste it, that's why i put it there, so you guys could have it. also in the description box is the link, you can go to the site and see what else they have that might be helpful to you. yeah, girl, i gotta eat cheap, you can see where my priorities are LOL

You look beautiful girl!! and i read the description and the list seems pretty easy. Its just cutting down little by little and its common sense! awesome and easy! i just finished about 4 handfulls of cashews!!!....LOL awesome video girl! and i am going to copy and paste the description if you dont mind, so that way i can hang it on my fridge!..lol thanks chickadee! :-) awesome information!
