here's a long footage of a boring cricket chirping. i just thought it was amusing that it would chirp while i was staring at it. it's a wild field cricket that i caught earlier in the day of the filming of this video. yeah. i feed it rice. haha. the cricket is dead now. i pinned it for my biology project.

  • @andrewjw01 Your comment reminds me of one of the Jimmy Neutron episodes where Jimmy's dad keep pet fleas so that he will not be lonely as Jimmy goes to a university far away. He names them Jimmy 1, Jimmy 2, Jimmy 3 and Jimmy 4... hahaha

  • you should've let it go. RIP little Jimmy

  • Sounds like a Togepi :P

  • is this in US?

  • Yes, he should let the little one go

  • Well, I guess the tarantula needs to eat, but

I really like crickets in the wild. However,

I raised a baby blue jay until he fledged out

and I did have to sacrifice a lot of crickets!I felt for the crickets, but I felt

for the bird. I guess you have to "choose

the lesser of the two weevils"(Russell Crowe) I mean evils.

  • its funny when i feed one of these to my tarantula, your casually browsing the internet in your room and its chirping away to itself and suddenly everything goes quiet and you here a quick scuffle then you look around and see it underneath the spider with fangs deep inside it, the tarantula is like "shut up will you your doing my head in!".

  • I totally agree with you...I think crickets are wonderful---I love them. One of my favorite sounds--I don't know if you would go that far, but I just love the sound of crickets in the summer

  • It's not boring, it's beautiful! I hope you let him go after his concert!

his family was probably looking for him!
