great tone

This amp is alright, ive greatly considered one, but to get one sounding good enough for my tastes it'd need about £90 worth of bench time for a output transformer and tube change before it sounded any good. Might as well get a 70s plexi for the money i'd spend on it.

we have the same levy's strap! good taste and solid playing!

you can take this amp and put the top line tone caps in it and it sounds way better .. its already like the best amp i'v ever owned .. I Randy Rhoads modified mine

that tone seems too good to be true for the money?!! I saw some video reviews of them and then went to there web site.. Decided I had to have one.. Found a Dealer and was expecting to pay around the £1000 mark.. I was in Total SHOCK when I read more.. Have you played there cabs at all?

@02ajack Hey, I can't say anything at all about the cabs sorry, Haven't played them so i don't honestly know. None of the preamp tubes are stock in this though, I have a Vintage 12AX7 in V1 A Electroharmonix In V2 and a 12AT7 groove tube in V3. I also am changing the EQ through the FX loop, I found that the amp goes from Being VERY bright to somewhat bassy and undefined, so the EQ just smoothes it out.

@02ajack Check out the New 1960 they have brought out, it has a master volume and a one wire mod already installed stock
