I'd love to become a philosophy professor someday... Sure you don't get paid well but having deep meaningful discussions with other people who are interested in the subject sounds wonderful to me!

@mathiasgandy Pursuing an intellectually rigorous field does not necessarily reflect high intelligence, meat-head, and who says Business major is more demanding?. Philo majors outperform Business majors in SAT(if I remember correctly), GMAT(philo majors outdid Business majors by 15% and they were themselves only outdone by the math majors), GRE, etc. Philo majors are known for scoring high on entrance exams. Tooltime is justified in saying so to an extent since it's supported by stats Derp

I would have agreed but i didn't see any reason to bash everyone you see in college that isn't majoring in philosophy. I have a problem with the medicine world for sure. But there is no point in trying to make others in college look like idiots because they don't have the same interests as you.

@tooltime9901 This is just my opinion, and I am trying to not oversimplify this subject, but I think that philosophy is the guy that says why and science says lets find out. You can't have one without the other. Science measures ideas and philosophy helps create them in my opinion.
