i love you because there are two of us and they are neurotypical and i am afraid of him on easy big planet.
-
what is worst though is i cant be around loud noise so balloons, guns, fireworks, alarm bells, or harley davidsons I cant be around any of these things
-
aswell strange thing with aspergers is in high school even though i was quiet i made some friends because i didnt act like an idiot, so I was known as the friendly giant, on the other hand even though we like it peaceful we do not take threats well or anger well
-
however some may notice as we grow older we get better when I was a kid i was considered strange because of the way I acted and because I was anti social, however now that im 18 i talk a little bit more and im the most mature guy compared to my friends
-
sadly I too have aspergers so many things go along with this disorder
-sensitive to loud noise
-very anxious over random things
-dont talk much
-dont have alot of friends
-if we are in a group we dont know half of what their talking about
-etc
-
@yeahtoast22 Yup, what I did is go with something where it won't show which so far so good. What I still have trouble with is social situations as I give 0 socialization to my "Friends" also I get anxiety attacks which I hide them but occasionally people see the chinks in the armor.

@Jaket2000 I can relate. The way I can describe it is my brain is like google where I have all this knowledge and facts but during social situations I keep quiet when a subject of interest comes up because I know once I make a statement I will be asked questions and I will need to quickly think of a reply which is something that is extremely difficult for me to do.
People who call AS silly or say "everyone's got problems, blah blah" are incapable of understanding what it's like to have this...it's like telling a blind person to grow new eyes or something absurd...it's hard to diagnose adults with AS because we get very good at hiding it and staying isolated with ourselves and our feelings, but inside it's like a raging inferno of confusion about social situations and relationships...we understand being social, we just can't do it...its torture.

Aspergers is a spectrum disorder. not all people with Apergers syndrome are like this individual but thay might have similar characters. The medea and these so called professionals stereotype Aspergers syndrome because thay do not fully understand it. I would encourage people to believe that we are not all the same. If we all try to keep an open mind adout Aspergers we might find more efficient ways of treating it.
