Nightmare

Nightmare lying here in the dark
Scared like my dreams made their mark
I wonder
Dreamer always alone
Lost in a part of myself I can't find anymore
I wonder if it's gonna end tonight

I can't sleep alone anymore
I need you here with me
Even though I closed all the doors
There's somethin' holdin' me

Never Ending Nightmare
Always there instead of you
Never Ending Nightmare
No escape this time from you

Lately been around someone new
Needed to fill in the space
That once sheltered you
Still I worry, if you're gonna be alright

I can't sleep alone anymore
Need someone here with me
All I ever wanted and more
My dreams are fighting for

Never Ending Nightmare
Always there instead of you
Never Ending Nightmare
Punishing me for the things I do
Never ending Nightmare

No escape this time from you

  • every guitarist likes this song coz of perfect solo in minor scale. moreover, the vocalist could make everyone to be crazy.

  • oh my god...listen to Schenkers incredible skills on the solo, blows me away, shame it was just an instrumental, I would have liked to have seen him pick up his flying-v and finish it off like in the studio version, that would have topped if odd for me, but overall, this version was brilliant, sounded 90% like the studio

    5* :)

  • fak me thats one melodic solo... and the singers voice is like crystal never heard this live before and i have to say wow!

  • just perfect!!!!!!!!!

  • Super fine... Good night....

  • Agree with most of the positive comments about this song. The first time I heard this song (still have the tape by the way) and just played it today in my 99 minivan with the tape deck and no CD player. But anyways, very moving song for me on the guitar. The studio version intro makes me picture Clint Eastwood in the old spaghetti westerns with the background fills. Wish it had a better name as it deserves it. I have played it for so many women and all they can think about is the sad title.
