An updated trailer for the upcoming movie that is very graphic. The trailer is so good that I am having a Conan moment. I hope the movie holds out. Please enjoy.

  • @EminemDirtyDozen Yeah, right, because I think that sexual imagery is far less worse than blood and gore, and therefore should be shown when in tandem with excessive violence, that makes me a pervert. Well said. Clearly you're a student of an Ivy League academy.

  • As much as I like this movie, I don't like how they portray Beowulf, Beowulf was a hero, a good man, in this they made him a jerk.

  • Beowulf never died by falling of a cliff with a dragon

  • @WeylandYutaniInc91 yeah the movie was not based entirely on the Epic Poem

  • I AM BEOWULF!!!

  • Beowulf isn't supposed to be a jerk... he's actually really nice and modest. But that wouldn't sell...

  • @WeylandYutaniInc91 depicts him as a man with greatness granted upon him unlike the classical blessed by gods approach

  • @WeylandYutaniInc91 They made him a muthafucking badass!

  • THIS IS SPARTA

  • I am Ripper... Tearer... Slasher... Gouger. I am the Teeth in the Darkness, the Talons in the Night. Mine is Strength... and Lust... and Power!

    I AM MRS. NESBITT!

    HA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • @ZenCatcher That's plausible since the queen would be bound to the king by crown. But it would be wrong to take a man's woman like that, like what happened with Oedipus.

  • @Agent1W

Not in the poem, but the film. It's been a while since I've seen the film, but I got the impression after Hrothgar hands over his kingdom to Beowulf, he includes his queen in the deal haha. Otherwise, I don't see a reason why Wealtheow would have stuck around if she wasn't Beowulf's wife.
