Ok, I am going to be quite honest with the American public. I have nothing against anyone who is Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgendered. So when I heard about what's going on in California and how the Religious Right got involved, I had to answer.

The American GLBT community is fighting back, and I give my full support to having their rights to be heard.

The Supreme Court of California overturned the gay marriage ban in 2008. A conservative group with the help of the Church of Latter Days Saints had pushed a proposition to void the marriages and reinforce the ban on gay marriage.

The religious right of the Republican Party and The DUMB Right are showing their "love" to the people.

As a straight person, I respect marriage. I would one day settle down with a wife and kids someday. But in the meantime, I will keep fighting for the truth and open the door to America.

So why is it wrong for a gay couple to be married?

They are not hurting me!

They want to live their lives in peace. I have no problem with it!

I feel that in an age where the "old style" is becoming old, America still has hurdles to climb in order to make "freedom", not just a slogan. It has to mean something.

Conservatives love to claim their "patriotism", "proud of their country", "liberty", and "freedom" as their words.

The DUMB Right [alongside The Religious Right, and Republicans who support this movement] rather focus on a "culture war" instead of trying to fix the economy, end two costly wars, lower food, gas and heating oil prices, home foreclosure, Wall Street turmoil and of course the chronic job loss! They rather continue to be "out of touch" with the rest of the country. In which it may prove fail to those incumbent Republicans facing re-election.

2010 is another Midterm Election, wonder what kind of impact this will have on the upcoming elections?

In an unrelated topic, Paula Goodspeed, 30 was found dead at celebrity judge/singer Paula Abdul home in Los Angeles. The woman was a lesbian who has "stalked" the singer. The LAPD found the woman dead, apparently over a suicide by drug overdose. I strongly condemn obsessed fans and stalkers. Even though I send my condolences to her family, I seriously believe that woman needed professional help! This woman was featured on American Idol and was turned down by the celebrity judges. Goodspeed may have stalked Abdul for many years.

Thanks for your consistent ethics of equality among all citizens. This is an important moment in history to open full rights for another group of Americans. The idea that a group can have their rights taken away by the opinions of others is a misuse of the initiative process. The Right tries to re-classify people and principles until their agenda sounds legitimate, but it is just prejudice wrapped in righteousness, like all their other "ideologies."

@ukl100 You are writing as if you have some kind of "inside knowledge" about this god; you seem to believe that yours is the only 'real' version of god, and that other people's beliefs don't count.
