Great White Shark nibbles boat propeller cover to test

I was cage diving in Gansbaai, South Africa, and this beauty swam by the cage and gave the prop cover a little bite. Then someone up top kicked the water to get rid of him. Now would you stick your foot in the water with him about????

looks more like the rudder, but i could be wrong. lol the shark wrestled it not nibble. XD

It's not a rudder, it is a prop cover. The props rattle in the water and attract the sharks. When they swim by or try to bite it, it cuts into them and scars them, so they fit these covers while the boats are stationary.

Great video! I love great whites. It was testing it trying to figure out what it was. Unfortunately, sometimes they test taste us and that's how we lose limbs or our life. They are the perfect predator. Just beautiful.

Nibble nibble

They actualy feel thinks with their mouths a they have no hands/paws, this what causes all the trouble with humans, they will "feel" you with their mouth to see what you are, decide if they want to eat you or not, because we a soft bodied, that "feel" will leave about 200 stitches! many people have been felt up like this and then left alone, if they can stop the bleeding they are fine.

1: never swim in cloudy water, 2: water with lots of bait, 3: where the river meets the sea
