My view of suffering -- and its relationship with Christianity.

There is a little bit of Christian theology thrown into this video. It don't be turned off; I'm not preaching to anyone!

  • Opps, forgot to say that I LOVE this video!!!

  • that's great!

  • Sorry to be so late to respond...

I really do understand what you are saying, I too have experienced this. It can be a life changing experience, as it has been for the both of us... However, I do not believe that you or I would have been a worse/less good person without the suffering...

Your experiences you'll carry with you throughout your life, and they will impact most everything you do and experience. In your case, and I'd like to think in my case too, it has made us different... (cont)

  • where can I find the rest?

  • ive always been leary of the suffering christian types, also the people that focus on jesus' death and crosses...but like you say, good things can come of suffering, or evil, as id prefer to say..the farmers horse ran off, bad..it came back with more horses,good..you fall off new horse and break your leg, bad..you stay home and a giant bear doesnt eat you, good

  • Hi Mitch!! I agree with your statements on suffering. ;)

  • Yeah that makes sense. =]

  • sort of, i guess the acceptance and overcoming of suffering could be considered as glorious. Just wary of anyone with the desire to suffer in glory! ;D

  • Of course. =]

  • To some exent.

  • But I believe that there is glory in what you suffer for and how your suffering has changed yourself, your environment, society, etc.

  • We should use our suffering as a wake up call to the need of positive alternatives from the True Revolution.
