I had the same problem with my windmill generator, you may consider putting a relay on for the load power so you pulse it out. Thanks for sharing!

This maybe something I will consider when and if I can get it to self run. Thanks for your comment. Just built a small wind generator with the chap from next door for running is deck lighting.

Would it make a stronger generator by replacing the wooden dowels with a ferite or iron core?

Just a thought... any noise is the sound of inefficiencies, I would suggest changing your controller with buffer capacitors in series with the coils in order to run a sign wave instead of a square pattern.

cudent u gear the end jenorator up so it creates more speed thus more power ?? its a sugestion it may work
