Haha, yes. Someone should downvote my comment so it gets off the top. Just thumbs up some "Mike Patton returns" comment.

@Gamerrhoea He is, if you don't know it by now.

@fullmetalnippy 1) i'm not a guy so dont address me as "bro". 2) dread girlfriend plot was overused even before 90s, so i'm having a hard time seeing it as a unique one of a kind plot. the premise is weak - deep complex characters should have deep complex motivations, not just revenge for a girlfriend who died x years ago...

@Muxxyy the darkness was written in the early 90s bro, before max payne and just a little after the punisher. the dead girlfriend plot works bro and if you are interested in a unique one of a kind story then instead of bitching about the game you can go read the comics and bitch about it not being even close
-
@fullmetalnippy Yeah, I didn't read them, but that's all I was trying to say, that it's not a Hellsing clone or knockoff.
-
@NumidiumsRG actually... if you read the comics, you would know that even though it is based on Top Cow's comic series the story is completely different. though you are right about it not being a Hellsing knockoff considering The Darkness issue #1 was written in 1993.
-
@juusov2 You realize both games are based on a comic, right? It's not like the developers made this up.

Hellsing clone. Seriously, the first game was quite unique and not very similiar(it required some tactical approach, sneaking, puzzles, etc.). The only similiarities were dual pistols and those snake-like things. But now it has changed. That chair, that suit, that self confidence, the whole 1 guy vs an army setting, everything about it indicates towards Hellsing. I bet even the game is like running around in god mode and ripping everyone to pieces...

Does anyone know if Mike Patton is voicing the Darkness once again in this sequel?
