  • It's a good camera for not only getting used to the world of photography but it also has things that will allow you to learn along the way ...i have a D40 Nikon my self with several lenses. but the Canon you talked about is a very good choice seeing it allows you to learn at your own speed but it still has the more professional feature's so you can keep advancing in ability. I looked up the canon and it has been rated as a well recommended camera I'll send you a PM later on

  • thanks!

  • what up ilovelasun my advice is to go to walmart and look at there cameras cause they got some good cameras that take good pictures for affordable prices. and if the pictures you take still aint up to par the download adobe photo shop to make your pics even better cause photo shop has this one feature to where if you do take a head shot you can make the picture black and white. i hope that helps.

  • The camera that I am talking about cost 900 bucks...much cheaper online.

  • you have to check and see if the glass that the lenses are made with good quality.. thats really important

  • which ones better rebel xs or xSi?? I heard xs has a video recording?

  • Yes, it's a great camera. I own one myself.

  • oh and if your shopping online and the prices seem to good to be true. IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. they are scammers. one example is Broadway photo. stay away from them.

  • hmmm its a great camera but if you want to go even cheaper get a nikon d40 or nikon d60

id go more for the d60 because it has internal cleaning. in my opinion nikon has better lenses. check amazon you can find some pretty good deals on nikon cameras there.

  • let me guss. the lenses the camera comes with are 18-55mm and 55-250mm

  • So, what camera did you get???

  • I really want to know what you decided to get. I'm love canon cameras and was thinking about getting the Xsi myself. But um if you want the Xsi for the 'point-and-shoot' ability I think you shouldnt buy it. And if you want to turn pro, I think it'd be best to invest more money into a nikon.
