Her immediate response to his kiss is just about the funniest scene ever in silent films (that I have viewed).

Thank god for the subtitles. I can't hear a friggin' word the're saying over that blasting ragtime piano music. Sheeeeeeez...

I would love to go to a carnival like this.

I Gogled "It" and it came up with with a listing for a scary Steven King flick. This is scarier 'cause the gal doesn't talk. It gave me shivers to see a gal dating her boss.

@bqfoster That would be Antonio Moreno.

I looooooove this movie and Clara <3

Clara's very vivacious. I've never seen a clip of her. 'It' looks good fun, I shall try to seek it out. Who says youtube is all bad?

happy birthday it-girl

I grew down the shore, and remember those air blasts that would hit you when you left the fun house - and this was decades after Clara had to deal with it. LOL
I never thought I'd laugh so much at a silent film very humorous :)

"It' was the perfect way to show off Bow's sensual, cute big eyed appeal. The actor who plays her boss does a great job as the confused suitor.
