Rubio is a much more flashy passer who loves to run the fast break and actually plays defense as a rookie. Parker is a four time all-star who averages 17 ppg for his career. Calderon is a year older than Parker and has only scored 4,543 points in his career compared to 13,120 points. One is a pass first point guard while the other uses his speed to get free throws and score. I'd take either one over Calderon who's never averaged 5 ft attempts/game like Parker.

Calderon's a far better shooter than Rondo and much better ball handler(he breaks records with how rarely he turns over the ball.) With all that said, he's not aggressive enough on offense and a weak defender. Who takes just 8.6 shots a game while shooting 52%/41% for 3/90% from the line? Those are Nash/Price/Bird/Dirk percentages. His main weakness is the ability/willingness to force the fast break enough for a guy with his handles.

@Noahkk12 I'm just saying its pretty easy to pile up assists when you're playing with 3 future hall of famers (Pierce, Allen, Garnett) compared to Calderon who doesn't play with supreme talent yet both have similar assists stats. My criticism of Rondo is his terrible free throw shooting and 3 point shooting which is pretty bad for a guard.
