I respond to a young earth creationist's arguments. The first two parts are debunking the arguments for a 6,000 year old earth, and the third part will detail how we know the earth is 4.5 billion years old.

It's taken a lot of my spare time to research and write this, and I also had some technical difficulties. The audio is out of sync by a little in some places.

who to believe. a kid with some "facts" about creationism. or a kid with some "facts" about evolutionisms. any or all of it could be unreliable information on both sides. this is the internet. the only way to come to a conclusion is to do your own research for BOTH sides of the argument and decide for yourself. i could spend my time to discredit some of the things this guy says. making 3 part video is not enough to prove or persuade anyone. waste of time

@dedeath I put a lot of effort into researching the claims to make this video. I specifically debunk a few of the claims for a young earth, and give my reasoning.

You claim that you can discredit some of the things I say in this video. I don't think you can. But actually stating your argument would be more constructive than just hinting that you have them, otherwise it looks like a "I can do that I just don't want to" situation.

you're very right. i dont want to, cause it wont change your mind at all. you find out for yourself, and im happy for you. but nonetheless, its an opinion. and you or anyone else cannot prove either side of the argument. if their was proof. there would be no argument at all. and no, im not gonna state my points in a 500 character limit comment on youtube. sorry. and i wont make a video or long email about it either because it wont change anyones mind. thus, waste of time

what you're trying to do is get me to say i dont want to do that. so you can just call me ignorant and dont want to prove my point. i believe that science and religion must agree. and no, nothing i say will change your mind..... i could tell you some things that i believe could plant a seed in you, that will help you discover more on your own. but not change your mind completely

@dedeath I disagree that science and religion must, or even can agree. And I put forth my reasons why in this and other videos. I have given this topic a lot of thought, and I have developed reasons for why I believe what I believe. And I can share those reasons with anyone.

You, however, keep making assertions and don't back them up at all. You insist you have arguments, but I can't tell if they are reasonable or not because you refuse to tell them. Why should I give you any credibility?

Am sorry but this kid is dumb and obviously has no life. If thinking the earth is more than a million years old helps you sleep at night well than good for you.Ya we evolved from monkeys were about 97% the same but did you ever think that maybe we all have the same creator. The bible isnt wrong. Did you know that NOAHS ark was found.No you probably didnt because you dont care. Now please go ahead and post another 3 pointless videos on Noahs ark not being real because thats what your good for.
