ALGANON - A Rocket Mule Journey - Vol. 1

Alganon is a rather esoteric F2P MMORPG. Criticized in the past for being a "WoW clone" (most MMORPG are), it's actually stands quite steadfast on its own offering a surprisingly deep and exquisitely arcane EPIC world. I've barely scratched the surface and there is a lot to it not even shown or covered in this video. As you can see from the video, you can dye your armor - all black for me, as I ride through dark ass-kicking epicness on my rocket-mule and giant hat (muahahahah!).

This is just a glimpse of a hidden, solid gem of a good fun game that doesn't get half of the attention it truly deserves.

The game world itself is actually pretty damn well done, and the music/sound effects, while a bit tinny and repetitive, are certainly head and shoulders above other AAA MMOs (Warhammer, I'm looking at you). The character animations, in-game models, and UI look pathetically outdated and are in dire need of a remodel.

And frankly, the game is about as blatant of a WoW clone as they come; and these guys had the balls to actually make people *pay* for it, at first.

It's not bad, but very 'meh'.
