@KenCat1337 That is one version of anarchism. On the other hand, there are those of us who like capitalism just fine, only without a crony govt or rigged financial and monetary system. The voluntary relationships in pure capitalism cannot be exploitative by their very nature, not matter how many times man-children like yourself say it over and over again. I'm sorry, you having a hard time getting a job, and making it in the world somehow? Grow up!!!!

How many man-children are there in this world? Without a state to protect our rights, we will fall into warlordism, or some form of strong-man rule. Despite the masturbatory fantasies of anarchist Utopians, the fact that our state has been expanding doesn't mean it will inexorably do so. It's being expanded by people who believe in the power of the state to fix the problems they are addressing with policy. Just elect leaders who believe in limited govt, and we can have it. No anarchy needed.

@jesselakerr how about you check out some actual anarchist theory before spouting reactionary misconceptions.

If only there was a way to make it appeal to the masses, they all think we're geeks

We can only dream of a world where we have no greedy idiots claiming authority over us. Scared individuals cannot help but don a uniform, pick up a weapon and start enforcing their system upon others. The people in power will do anything to stop that power being taken away. All we want is freedom from others controlling our entire existence, Sadly we have to fight for it. Vive la revolution!

Anarchy means both, and 'without rulers' means precisely- NO rulers. Who the rulers are is irrelevant. Democracy requires rules & rulers and anarchy requires the absence thereof. Direct democracy is an 'extreme form of democracy,' anarchism is not. Anarchy rejects ALL external authority, and in that sense it is nihilistic (as well as undemocratic). Saying it's not is just an attempt to change it to appeal to the masses. Stop trying to make anarchy socially acceptable.

anarchism, I would be happy to share with you correct information. I'm not trying to sway you to anarchism, but it is important for non-anarchists to have an informed understanding of anarchy. You or anyone else can feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss this topic further. Have a good day.
"anarchy ownz espescialy punkin around we are chaos"
Anarchism is not chaos -- anarchism is organization via horizontal structures versus the exploitative, oppressive and capitalistic structures that bring death via war, hunger and disease.
Anarchism is freedom.
Viva libertad.
