I have rarely heard any playing that was so naturally expressive. And it has such beautiful, ideally luscious, comfortable tone. The level at which he played while he was young (when he had better control of the bow and intonation) has not been surpassed.

El violín es el instrumento de la tristeza, el dolor y la nostalgía. Así lo han entendido los violinistas y, sobre todo los mejores intérpretes como Sarasate y Menuhin quien no necesitó ser expresivo en su cara como si lo fue con su violín. Y ambos tuvieron el acierto de buscar el sonido del piano para complementar sus ejecuciones. Así que Adolph Baller también merece su reconocimiento...creo yo.
