good luck mantra seems be pure one if we compare it with mantras of money which are quite dangerous and in no way pure.

i mean counting up to 108 is distractin..what about doing it untill i get tired..i dont want to count

some people use malas (they have 108 beeds; rosaries have half of that - 54), some use handheld counters (you hold it in one hand and push a button on each count), and some check out how many repetitions they can do in a particular time frame (e.g. a minute) and then use a stop watch or a clock to measure time ...

some use fingers to count - touching different parts of fingers - you can develop any system that works for you, perhaps just draw a line for each repetition on a piece of paper and then cross every fifth one or just keep on repeating the mantra as long as it makes you feel good
