@AtCw593 however, i have also been in my section and a mets fan arrives and i look at my gf and we know he is not planning on staying until the 9th inning. he is picking fights before the first pitch and is getting thrown out just a matter of when. maybe the first few yankee fans he heckles are not violent or are on a date or there with their kids, or still sober. but sooner or later he'll find our version of him and the fight begins. unfortunately when a yankee fan snaps it is on youtube....

i guess when you have 40,000 people in one place there are bound to be a few or a few thousand bad apples.

take any concert, there are always the few who act out. it would not lead me to the conclusion that all bon jovi or all lady gaga, or all jay z fans are bad. i know the yankees have their crazy fans who are unpleasant to visiting fans. example, once saw a fan take an older orioles fan's aht and pass it around

@jzimmel I believe you. However, I am firm with my original position. These are all based on my experiences at Mets and Mets-Yankees games at Yankee stadium. I appreciate your input though, it's always nice to hear other accounts of this topic. The more individual tales and descriptions we have, the closer we are to the truth and the further we are to generalizations and stereotypes

@AtCw593 false. met fans are a-holes to yankee fans at shiti including women in their 50's with yankee gear on and met "fans" come to yankee stadium during subway series looking for trouble. this guy was a good sport about it and i bet the fans were playful but left him alone for the most part
